About
A small, focused product
for an annoying problem.
Receipts turns paper, PDF, and screenshot receipts into structured data. We built it because every team that touches receipts ends up writing the same plumbing, and the world has enough of that already.
The pitch is simple. Drop a receipt in, take clean structured data out. Line items, variants, tax per line, total, payment method, merchant, language, a one-paragraph summary, and a confidence score on every value.
We are not building an expense management platform. There are good ones already. We are building the part underneath: the extraction step, exposed as a clean API and a dashboard for teams that prefer not to wire up the API.
That focus is the product. The dashboard is a thin client over the API. The schema is versioned and stable. The pricing is per-receipt with hard caps so you never get a surprise bill. AI does the reading; you get the data.
What we believe
Three principles,
visible in the product.
AI does the boring work
A receipt is paper. The data on it is structured. The bridge between those two things is a job for vision models, not for a human at a keyboard.
Privacy is a feature
Three retention modes per receipt, your data deleted on request, no training on your individual receipts. Your receipts belong to you.
Same product for people and APIs
The dashboard and the API hit the same endpoints. There is no enterprise-only API or partner program gating real functionality.
The studio
Built by Day Moon Development.
Day Moon is a small studio that builds focused software products. Ripceipt is one of them. We try to ship things that are honest about what they do, and that's reflected in the product, the docs, and the pricing.
